A copper coin of Venice* issued by the Doge Pietro Ziani (1205- 1229), and continued by some of his suc- cessors. It does not, however, appear to have been struck after the fourteenth cen- tury. The general type has a cross with lilies in the angles. It was copied at Verona by Giovanni Galeazzo Visconti (1387-1402).
