Wahrheitsthaler

The name given to a Thaler struck by Henry Julius of Bruns- wick-Luneburg in 1597 and 1598. It has on the reverse a nude allegorical figure representing Truth, and at her feet are two monsters labelled CALVMNIA and MEN- DACIVM.
