Wellington Tokens

The name given to a series of tokens bearing the bust of Wel- lington, which were in circulation in lower Canada in vast quantities from 1813 to 1816. They are described in detail by Dr. E. G. Courteau in the American Journal of Numismatics , 1915 (xlviii. 137).
