Zar-mahbub

A gold coin of the Ottoman Empire, weigh- ing variously from thirty-seven to forty grains. Marsden (i. 372) states that " such of these as are coined in the mint of Con- stantinople are commonly named Stambul, as those of Cairo are named Misri. "
