Bilingual

Bilingual.  A medallic or numismatic item with inscription or legend in two languages. When three or more languages are present, this is known as multilingual. Bilingual coins have existed throughout history. Greek appeared on ancient coins with Indo-Bactrian, Latin, Persian and Hebrew. In modern times, Belgium and Canadian commemorative coins contain inscriptions in two languages. Some Sri Lanca coins are multilingual, appearing in Tamil, Singhiese and English languages.
