Bright

Bright.  The untarnished shiny state of a medallic item struck in light colored metals – tin, tin alloys, white metal – the slightly reflective surface of such metals before they tone or darken. Bright white metal is comparable to mint luster in copper, bronze or silver struck pieces. The natural toning of white metal is called darkening. See white metal.
