Feet

Feet.  Smooth projections on the reverse of a medallion or plaquette to make it a paperweight. The feet raise the piece from the surface it rests on; small round hemispheres are the commonest type (and a stock item of jewelry supply houses) but square feet and pylons have also been used.  See half ball feet.
