Garland

Garland.  A streamer of blossoms, leaves, berries and such, infrequently used in medallic design, almost always shown flowing across a medallic field; also called festoon or encarpa. The Olympic Participation Medal of 1928 shows a garland design. When shown in circular design a garland becomes a wreath.
