Largess Medal
Largess Medal. A medallic item intended to be widely distributed to the public at no cost. Largess medals are usually of small size and inexpensively made of low-cost composition; it also infers a very common medal. Largess medals have been distributed during parades, upon jubilee celebrations of long-reigning monarchs and during election campaigns.
