Pastiche

Pastiche.  A jumble of individual symbolic objects, or attributes, which when grouped together form a design element indicating some greater significance or symbolism. A trophy, for example, is a pastiche of individual weapons of warfare which when grouped together symbolizes victory. Other pastiches found in medallic art – very infrequently are they found on coins – include music (of musical instruments), agriculture (or agricultural implements), sports (of sports equipment) and such.
