Polishing Compound. A substance used in polishing to smooth a metal surface and give it a highly reflective image. They include: rouge, tripoli, crocus, rottenstone, bobbin, white diamond composition, greaseless compound, powdered rouge, powdered tripoli, powdered crocus, powdered pumice.
