Strip

Strip.  (1) Metal from ingots of proper alloy rolled to the required thickness or gauge in long narrow ribbons to be blanked. When strip is rolled to a prescribed thickness intended to be blanked and struck in a particular coin it is said to be THICKNESS STRIP.  See ROLLING MILL
