£20,000 Lawful Money in legal tender Bills of Credit due on May 3, 1777 or May 3, 1780 with 2 1/2% interest pursuant to the May 3, 1775 Act. Each denomination was issued having each due date. Printed by John Carter on thin laid paper. Typeset backs printed on denominations of 5s and over. Entire issue replaced with non-interest bearing bills of the Jan. 15, 1776 issue. Signers were Metcalfe Bowler, Joseph Clarke, John Cole, Thomas Greene, and Henry Ward.
