£70,000 in engraved indented Public Orders payable to bearer and authorized by the April 7, 1770 Act, and receivable for taxes until Mar. 25, 1775. Proceeds to be used for building Court Houses, gaols, etc. Signers were Benjamin Elliot, Isaac Hayne, James Parsons, Charles Cotesworth Pinckney, John Poaug, Philip Porcher, and Thomas Smith.
