£40,000 in indented Province Bills authorized on July 6, 1711 to finance a Canadian expedition. Issued for only two years at 40% advance with no right of reissue. Because of counterfeiting, this and all prior issues were declared invalid after Nov. 1, 1718 by the Act of Feb. 24, 1717/ 18. Signers were Samuel Checkley, Elisha Hutchinson, John Parker, Samuel Sewall, and Penn Townsend.
