$1,080,000 in engraved Bank Notes printed by Joseph Callender on paper made in Philadelphia and watermarked with the denomination and the bank’s name. By an Act passed March 9, 1792 the Massachusetts Bank was prohibited from circulating notes below $5. See 1784 issue for reprint data.
