The NARA description is "The slides were prepared for either the Panama Pacific Exposition in 1915 or the Mississippi Centennial in 1917 to illustrate the history and activities of various branches of the department. They include portraits of officials and other key personnel, interiors and exteriors of the Treasury Department building (D.C.), Public Health Service buildings and the ice plant, employee facilities and machinery. Among the various bureau activities are the printing, storage, transportation and destruction of money and the testing of alcoholic beverages by the Internal Revenue Bureau."
