Description | 1853 C-1 R1. PCGS graded MS-65 Red & Brown. CAC. Frosty slightly faded mint red and light steel brown, nearly half the original color remaining, mostly on the reverse. The only mark is a large spot of darker steel toning in the hair below the Y in LIBERTY. Our grade is MS63. MDS. The obverse fields are satiny but not wavy.
