Description | 1853 C-1 R1. PCGS graded MS-64+ Red & Brown. CAC. Mellowed mint red and dark bluish steel brown, more than a third of the mint color remaining. The only defect is a trace of an old fingerprint at stars 12 and 13. Otherwise this piece is a gem. Our grade is MS64. MDS. The obverse fields are satiny but not yet wavy.
