| Description | 1775 1/2 P Georgivs III, Machin's Mills Halfpenny, Vlack 4-75A, W-7780, R.4, VF20 NGC. Die alignment: 180?. Struck from the same deeply cut obverse die as the rare 1771 Vlack 4-71C and 4-71D. This is an attractive piece with a pleasing golden-brown coloration and a solid strike. A small spot of corrosion to the right of the date is noted, but there is little else to distract the eye. This is the only die variety for 1775-dated Machin's Mills halfpennies.
