Description Blank postcard. Handwritten note: "Kiowa Indian." Manufacturer's note: "Deana Jo Harragarra (K'ee-yah-ah), Miss Indian American XXII. An Otoe-Missouria-Kiowa from Yukon, Oklahoma, deana is a political science graduate of Oklahoma University. deana's Kiowa name is translated "Traveling Through Life With the Ten Medicine Gods of the Kiowa." Dressed in traditional Otoe clothing, she wears an 1857 Peace Medal belonging to her grandfather, Moses Harragarra, last hereditary chief of the Otoe. deana held the first Miss Indian Oklahoma title. The 1976 All American Indian Days and National Miss Indian America Pageant will be held in Sheridan, Wyoming, on July 30, 31, August 1." Distributed by Rangeland Photo Service, Sheridan, Wyoming.
