Postmarked Jun 19, 1919, 6pm, San Francisco, Cal. Addressed to Mrs. Edgar Bulmer, 265 Leonsdale Ave., Pawtucket, Rhode Island: Dear Emma & all, Hope you are all well. We are feeling fine. Took a ride over to Oakland & Berkeley yesterday. More simply Grand & I have a souvenir of the trip - a red rose. The sun shines here though it is not at all [?] & you see them going about with [?] & [?] heavy boats. They need them morning & evenings. Evenings then for Seattle. Will feel ... when I get that far.
