Description | 1870 3C Three Cent Nickel, Judd-794, Pollock-881, High R.7, PR62 Brown NGC. Design. The regular issue three cent nickel design struck in copper with a plain edge. Commentary. Only five examples have been graded at NGC and PCGS, and the actual population is likely only three or four pieces. Physical Description. The strike is bold and some of the mirrored proof finish remains on both sides of this light gold and iridescent toned proof.
