1872 H10C MS66 NGC. Although almost 3 million half dimes were produced in 1872, there are very few survivors in the upper grade levels, with NGC having awarded the MS66 grade to 13 examples, and only three finer (10/13). This Premium Gem displays tan-gray, blue, plum, and red-orange colors. Areas of incompleteness of strike are present, including Liberty's head and the upper portion of the wreath. Ex: Eric P.
