1857-O 10C MS66 NGC. CAC. Fortin-107a, R.3. Medium O. This variety is attributable by two intersecting diagonal die cracks to the left of Liberty's shield. The Medium O mintmark is scarcer than the Large O and is very scarce in Uncirculated grades. The lustrous surfaces of this Premium Gem are covered with tan, yellow-gold, and lavender patina and exhibit well-struck design elements. Census: 10 in 66, 8 finer (10/13). Ex: Eric P.
