Description 1858 10C MS65+ NGC. Ex: "Col." E.H.R. Green. Despite a mintage of over 1.5 million coins, there are very few survivors at the upper grade ranges. This high-end Gem exhibits a strong degree of design detail. The obverse is largely gray-tan in color, while the reverse includes large areas of blue, green, and plum hues. This is a lovely representative. Census: 17 in 65 (1 in 65+), 11 finer (10/13). Ex: "Colonel" E.H.R. Green; Green Estate; Partnership of Eric P. Newman / B.G. Johnson d.b.a. St. Louis Stamp & Coin Co.; Eric P. Newman @ $1.50; Eric P. Newman Numismatic Education Society. Realized $1,880.00 . Description courtesy of Heritage Auctions, ha.com.
