Description | 1916-S 10C MS66 Full Bands NGC. CAC. The famous 1916-D gets all the glory, but the 1916-S is also challenging at the upper grade levels, probably because mint rolls were not generally set aside until the 1930s. This Premium Gem displays vivid toning on both sides, with colors that include red, orange, yellow, and plum. Census: 23 in 66 Full Bands, 5 finer (10/13). Ex: Eric P. Newman Numismatic Education Society. Realized $1,233.75 . Description courtesy of Heritage Auctions, ha.com. |
