1867 25C PR67 Cameo NGC. The colors, surface quality, and overall preservation of this piece are consistent with other proof Seated quarters of this decade from the Newman Collection. This coin is spectacular; it's a piece any collector would be eager to own. The strike is absolute insofar as we can tell, with somewhat deeper patina on the obverse. The cameo contrast is blatant, with the designation thoroughly well-deserved. Excellent quality and eye appeal. Census: 3 in 67 (1 in 67 S), 0 finer (10/13). Ex: Eric P.
