1874 25C Arrows PR65 NGC. The 1874 Arrows quarters are somewhat more available today than their 1873 counterparts due to their larger proof production, 850 pieces versus 540 for the 1873 Arrows. This makes them a popular and obvious target for type collectors. This is a lovely, fully struck Gem that shows original patina consistent with the other Newman Collection examples of this era, the product of decades of meticulous preservation in a Wayte Raymond album. Highly attractive. Census: 37 in 65, 38 finer (10/13). Ex: Eric P. Newman Numismatic Education Society.
