1915-S 50C Panama-Pacific MS66 NGC. CAC. This deeply toned Premium Gem commemorative half displays strong underlying mint luster. The design elements are well struck and both sides have been nicely cared for. Of the 60,030 Pan-Pac half dollars minted, 32,896 were melted leaving a net distribution of 27,134 coins. This issue is readily available through Gem condition, but MS66s are somewhat scarce and higher-grade specimens are challenging. Indeed, NGC has seen only 64 pieces finer than Premium Gem (10/13).
