1798/97 10C 16 Stars on Reverse MS65 S NGC. CAC. JR-1, R.3. Ex: "Col." E.H.R. Green. This specimen from the Eric P. Newman collection and the example from the Ed Price collection are each certified MS65 NGC, while that grading service reports three finer MS66 certified examples that likely represent only one or two different coins. There appears to be a slight planchet clip at 2 o'clock on this impressive Gem. The surfaces have full frosty luster with brilliant centers and splendid toning in rings of violet, blue, and gold.
