1795/1795 50C 3 Leaves Fine 12 NGC. O-111, High R.4. Ex: "Col." E.H.R. Green. The only Overton variety with three leaves beneath each wing. The date is widely repunched south, an obverse die shared with O-112. The heavy radial break at 10:30 on the reverse is diagnostic for the 3-leaf variety. The glossy dove-gray surfaces (the toning imparted by long term storage in a brown envelope) are unabraded aside from a wholly unobtrusive hair-thin line on the eagle. Ex: "Colonel" E.H.R. Green; Green Estate; Partnership of Eric P. Newman / B.G. Johnson d.b.a. St. Louis Stamp & Coin Co.; Eric P. Newman @ $90.00; Eric P. Newman Numismatic Education Society.
