From a mintage of more than 3.1 million pieces, the 1848-O Seated Liberty half dollar is an available date in circulated grades, but examples in MS63 condition are very rare. This attractive Select specimen is well-detailed and brightly lustrous, under shades of sea-green, powder-blue, gray, and lilac toning. Census: 7 in 63, 7 finer (10/13). Ex: Eric P.
