1857-O 50C MS64 NGC. WB-101. This Normal Date half dollar had a mintage of 818,000 pieces, but examples are very scarce in Uncirculated grades, especially in MS64 or finer. Only two other pieces have been so graded by NGC, with three finer (9/13). This example shows unusually sharp definition for an O-mint. Both obverse and reverse display dappled multicolored patina.
