Description 1859 50C MS64+ NGC. WB-101. Ex: "Col." E.H.R. Green. Type One Reverse Hub. Almost three-quarters of a million half dollars were struck in Philadelphia in 1859. As with most No Motto halves, high-grade examples are scarce. This piece displays remarkable reddish patina with light gray overtones. The strike is complete, except on the eagle's left (facing) leg.
