1877-CC 50C MS64 NGC. CAC. Type Two Reverse, WB-103, Die Pair WB-11, R.4. Ex: "Col." E.H.R. Green. This lovely Mint State 1877-CC half dollar is from the Type Two reverse hub, with its diagnostic closed lower berry and a Medium CC mintmark -- an uncommon die marriage in an uncommonly high grade. It displays attractive blue, gray, and golden toning with only minor abrasions in the fields that keep it from an even higher grade. A splendid Mint State Carson City half dollar.
