1928-S 50C Small S MS64+ NGC. CAC. The variations of mintmark size on certain Walking Liberty half dollar issues has been mentioned for years in the Guide Book, though recognition from the grading services has been slower in coming. This attractive Small S coin has generous luster and gold, orange, and pink patina. Softly struck on the interiors but remarkably close to a Gem designation.
