1935-D 50C MS65 NGC. The 1935-D Walking Liberty half dollar claims a substantial mintage of over 3 million pieces, making the issue reasonably available in lower Mint State grades. This well-detailed Gem shows a touch of softness on the central obverse, but the peripheral devices are sharp. The light gray surfaces display hints of gold and lavender, with bright luster underneath. NGC has graded six numerically finer examples (9/13). Ex: Eric P. Newman Numismatic Education Society.
