1886-S $1 MS65 NGC. Ex: "Col." E.H.R. Green. Despite its relatively low mintage of 750,000 pieces, the 1886-S can be found through near-Gem condition. Gems are scarce and higher-grade examples are quite rare. Golden-tan toning bathes the lustrous surfaces of this MS65 specimen and the strike is strong over most of the design elements, though the eagle's breast is a tad soft.
