1861-O 50C AU55 NGC. CAC. WB-101. Four varieties fall under this WB number. Examples are most easily attributed as a WB-101 by what they are not: If they do not have the CSA die crack, if the coin does not have a die crack bisecting the date, and if it does not have a speared olive bud, then it is is a 101. This Choice AU specimen reveals areas of red and orange toning on the obverse. The appealing reverse has toning in shades of ice-yellow, blue-green, and copper. Ex: Eric P.
