1908 $5 MS65 NGC. Vibrant mint bloom commands attention, while subtle toning nuances appear amid the swirling luster. Hints of rose and lilac enhance the medium-gold coloration. A characteristically full strike is on display. The fields are smooth and brilliant with enough mint frost to capture and deepen the cartwheel effects. This is the final year of issue for the Liberty Head design, and the only year without proof production, placing added emphasis on Gem Mint State coins. Ex: Eric P.
