1874 1C -- Improperly Cleaned -- NGC Details. Unc. This is one of the more easily obtainable Indian cent issues from the 1870s, though it does become elusive in Mint State condition. To the unaided eye, this piece displays rich coppery-orange color, but lacks the cartwheel effect produced by conventional mint luster. A lens reveals signs of cleaning.
