||Washington, DC - Bank of Washington $10 18__ DC-385 G46 SENC. Proof. PCGS New 62. A second much rarer denomination from this trio of Trusteeship series proofs from the distinguished title. This is a well-designed and beautifully engraved India paper proof, die-sunk to its original cardstock proof by Draper & Co., Phil. At top center, over the straight title, Washington's portrait is in an oval surrounded by flags and drums. At the left end, a standing allegorical female is shown with sword and shield; a cornucopia rests at her feet. Counters are at the right end. Basically, as made and sharply impressed. The only other example known to us was sold in the 1990 American Bank Note Company sale. Like the $5 proof, Hole Punch Cancels go though both the India paper and original card. Ex: Eric P.
