||(Clarksville), TX - Treasurer of the County of Red River $5 Dec. 1, 1862 Medlar 6. PCGS Very Fine 25 Apparent. This is another rare county note, not impossible to obtain, except in this lovely condition. A wide format printed without imprint on white paper. This Medlar Rarity-7 note (1-5 known) is styled as the plated note in his book. At the top center is a factory with smoke billowing from the tall stacks as the Red River flows by. The obligations and titles are across the note, all within a simple line border. The reason for the Apparent designation is minor, with some "Small Edge Splits" noted. The paper body is quite solid overall, and the note is very vibrant. These do not appear with any frequency, and this note is splendid to represent the county issuer. Ex: Eric P.
