||G. S. L. City, U.T. - Great Salt Lake City Corporation $1 June 30, 1869 Rust UNL Nyholm 117. PCGS Very Fine 25. From the dollar denominated series of notes that were payable in U.S. Legal Tenders or U.S. Currency depending on the back type obligation. The earlier Rust book was sometimes unclear in its illustrations, and those earlier attributions can be confusing compared with the clarified and expanded Douglas Nyholm listings. A very handsome type lithographed on two sides by Ferd. Mayer & Co., Engr. New York. At the bottom center is a vignette of man sowing seeds. Left and right are green color protectors. The title is curved across the top with geometric panels at each end. The back is green with an ornate scroll, "1" protector counter in the center and text PAYABLE IN U.S. CURRENCY at the bottom. A problem-free, very scarce type with bold green tint, it is appealing for the assigned grade. This fully issued note is an excellent representative of the Great Salt Lake City Corporation series.
