1722 PENNY Rosa Americana Penny, UTILE AU55 NGC. Martin 2.9-C.3, W-1264, R.4. Rosette after date only. This coin was struck on a faintly rough planchet. Pleasing chocolate-brown surfaces show occasional accents of mustard-gold color. A lamination is noted near the upper right obverse rim, extending into GRA. Post-striking surface defects are minimal.
