Franklin, LA - Parish of St. Mary 50 Cents 1862. PCGS Very Fine 30 Apparent. This is from a blue paper series that was "Fundable in Parish Bonds bearing 8 per cent interest" specified at the right end. A train in an oval is at top center, a red 50 CTS protector is across, and counters are at the left end. Noted as "Stained; Edge Damage; Minor Mounting Remnants on Back" by grading. Ex: Eric P.
