Description | New Jersey April 16, 1764 6 Pounds Fr. NJ-169. PCGS Very Fine 25. There were 917 red and blue 6 pounds authorized from this issue, which was also legal tender through the Revolutionary War. The same style as the December 31, 1763, 6-pound notes with red Royal arms, serial cartouche, and two sun emblems. Blue texts are framed all around the note with wide blue bordering creating an impressive effect. Printed by James Parker with a black sage leaf back.
