New Jersey April 16, 1764 30 Shillings Contemporary Counterfeit Fr. NJ-167. PCGS Fine 15 Apparent. This Plate G circulating counterfeit is interesting due to its crude plate engraving. There are several small diagnostics including overlapping ornaments and the plate letter "G" larger than the last "G" in "Shillings." Noted with "Splits and Tears; Hinge Repairs on Back." Ex: Eric P.
