Virginia May 7, 1781 $2000 Fr. VA-225. PCGS Extremely Fine 45 Apparent. This is from the final Virginia series; printed on thick laid paper by John Dunlap in Philadelphia. The highest denomination from the issue and for all Colonial notes. Attractive border cuts enclose the obligation on three sides, with the Dunlap imprint at the bottom. There are three signatures: Simmons, Lyne, and Craig. An attractive note and noted with "Small Edge Tears" only. With complete margins and well printed.
